Changes to Untitled

Directly investigating the question of content the work „changes to untitled“ which consists of a tube television playing a loop of a video seemingly showing „white noise“ - a kind of placeholder content of ancient television. The video however consist of stereographic images which carry a message: „Nothing changes - here is the same“ Stereogramms can be seen by relaxing or „crossing“ your eyes. When focused correctly, the writings appear to hover above the white noise matrix.

The work plays both with the initial Image of a flickering placeholder image, suggesting a void of narrative. Once  the spectator trys to focus on the seemingly „empty“ screen an underlying „secret“ message can be perceived; an invitation to further investigate only to be looped back to the emptyness of the intriguing content.
