Every once in a while the studio releases a couple of new Bricks from this series. With new pieces slowly being released over time, the goal is to ultimately create 100 unique bricks in this limited collection.
These one-of-a-kind bricks give a new life to discarded construction bricks found on the streets, parks, overpasses... of Berlin. Each piece is an original creation, patching together a weathered, broken brick with a colorful mosaic of repurposed plastic toy bricks from various brands around the world.
The contrasting textures and vibrant hues make these Dispatchwork Bricks eye-catching urban artifacts that tell a story about restauration and even gentrification.
Whether displayed individually or grouped together, these reclaimed bricks aretangible reminders of the stories embedded in the materials that shape our cities. Functional yet thought-provoking, each Dispatchwork Brick is a small piece of Berlin's urban landscape, reimagined and celebrated through art.
