Analog SLEM

Workshop with Pass the crayon

2016

In this workshop together with the team of Pass the Crayon we created analogue Versions of the Soap-bubble-life-extension-machines. Pass the Crayon is a non-profit organization that fosters self-expression through art-workshops. Their mission is to "facilitate the integration of refugee children using art as a way of growing their social and emotional skills."

The Soapbubble-life extension machines seen here is built with commonly available materials. The soapbubble solution replenishes the fragile skin of a soapbubble. Like an hourglass, once all the liquid has flown through the device, it has to be turned around to continue the renewing process. For instructions or for invitation please contact me.
